Students from EB1/PE da Marinheira, Portugal, started by discussing how they imagined the weather at this time of year in each partner country. In addition, they were questioning the teachers involved in the meetings already held about how the weather was at that time. They also used the Internet to research the weather forecast in each city of the partner schools. Finally, they recorded short videos about how the weather was each day. You can see the result below.

Lithuania is an interesting country because of its weather. We have spring full of nature blossom, summer with a lof ot sun, some rain and wind, then the beginning of the new school year starts by autumn that normally is sunny and rainy, winter is especially white and cold this year. Enjoy our video with the forecast of winter.

Nakkila students, from Finland, also recorded the weather over six days in their city.

It was one of the fun activities for the students of Şehit Ahmet Birkaç İlkokulu. The activity started with the Google Earth observation of partner countries and cities. By doing so, the students got the idea of how is the general climate and of course, the weather in partner cities. Then they prepared some text for the recording of the weather forecast video. They really liked to be like a weather forecasters in the activity… This activity is related with the social studies and weather unit in English classes…

A group of students from CEIP Maestro Juan de Avila, Pedro Muñoz, Spain, have researched about the weather in Pedro Muñoz, their town… They asked their families about the weather in the different seasons of the year and collected photos about them.

Another group was looking for information in internet about the weather in some of the most important cities in their country: Spain.

At Istituto Comprensivo 2 Cento, this activity was carried out by the pupils of the first class D-E. Started in January, it was then stopped for quarantine periods and then for lockdown. Due to the age of the students, it was decided to wait for the return to school to continue the topic of the activity.

They started from Google Earth to view the weather in Italy and then in our region. With immense curiosity and many many questions they made it clear that this science appeals to them very much. Looking at the sky to see the clouds, watching how the wind quickly changes the weather, giving signals that it might rain, really caught the attention of the children. Teachers were able to savor with them the amazement of looking up and admiring the sky
