On April 12th, some students of Marinheira School, from Portugal, and Asagi Ciyanli Sehit Ahmet BirKac Ilkokulu School, from Turkey, joined in an online conversation using Twinspace Chat.
It was really fun to get to know a little more about the partners. Students wrote in English and learned about the weather in each location, favorite foods, favorite subjects, sports and much more.
It was a beautiful conversation and communication experience that we hope to repeat soon!
is a project that focuses on cooperation and exchange of good practices between schools. The main goal of the project is to promote 4C’s (Critical thinking, Creativity, Collaboration and Communication). The project unites primary schools from Lithuania, Finland, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Portugal.
As part of the effort to disseminate our project, the Portuguese school publicized the meeting held in a regional newspaper.
National Sovereignty and Children's Day (Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı) is a national holiday in Turkey, always celebrated on April 23rd.
